The Khalkh are the largest group of Mongols in Mongolia. In fact, they are the core of all the Mongol peoples across North Asia. The Khalkha Mongols are considered the direct descendants of Chinggis Khan and therefore, the true preservers of Mongol culture. Today I visited Mongolian ethnic groups festival and we can see all the difference in same time (bellow picture shows Khalkh Mongol costumes)
The deel is a long, loose-fitting robe that is typically made of silk or cotton, often adorned with intricate patterns. The design and colors of the deel can vary depending on the region and the occasion. The hat comes in various styles, often signifying different ranks or statuses within society. Traditional Mongolian boots are usually made from leather with upturned toes, designed to be comfortable for horseback riding.
